He's held a recurring stints in Brazil and Mexico and performed in Ethiopia, Argentina, England and more.

As a producer & recording artist,
Salah Ananse’s rhythmic instrumentation and smooth layered vocals make his sound unique and distinguishable among the rest. Although he has been noticed for his production work, including remixes for Anthony David’s “Yes”, India Arie’s “Brown Skin,”  and Jill Scott’s “Cross My Mind” which received underground airplay throughout the nation, he is just beginning to get recognized for his solo projects. His 2009 album, The Late Night Affair: Suite 701. Suite 701 is a producer driven project that features collaborations with Anthony David, JimiJames, Gaelle & more.  This release also introduced Ananse’s Label AURALUXE. He has since released a solo EP titled Marimba Weapons, a collection of remixes for soul artists Carmen Rodgers & Anthony David, a single with his project - Ananse Scales Rebellion & a mixed compilation eponymously named after his successful party series Afrique Electrique Volume 1. In 2014 he launched a sub-label under the Afrique Electrique moniker that release work from Anthony David, Terrance Downs, Shontina Vernon & more. 2014 also saw the release of Ananse’s track “The Way” on Terry Hunter’s label T’s Box which is credited to his pseudonym The Late Night Affair. This track received worldwide airplay and was in heavy rotation by DJ’s such as Louie Vega, Ron Trent & Jihad Muhammad.  He joined forces with Terry Hunter again in 2017 for the release of “Still In Love” which is also credited under his pseudonym The Late Night Affair. Both have proven to be anthems in the US.

Over his career Salah Ananse has expanded his brand to include his own signature events. His
Afrique Electrique party, which started in 2009 has become one of the most popular events for soulful/afro house at Miami’s WMC. His LOVESEXY party, which is dedicated to the work of Prince expanded to Chicago in 2015. He recently joined forces with former collaborator DJ Kemit to do The Late Night Ritual party series in Atlanta. In 2011, he also joined forces with the other 3 DJs from House In The Park Atlanta (Kemit, Kai Alce & Ramon Rawsoul) to create & produce The Atlanta Weekender. The Atlanta Weekender/ATLWKNDR is a 5 day music festival centered in Atlanta’s Old 4th Ward/Edgewood Club District. DJs & fans from around the world flock to Atlanta to celebrate underground soul, soulful house & afro house. The festival culminates with House In The Park at Grant Park.
